Festive Season Opening Hours and Club Update 2022-2023
You can find below the changes to our opening hours and other operational information to help you enjoy your membership during the holiday season. If you have any questions, please do contact our Reception team.
Club Opening Hours
The Club will operate normal opening hours every day up to Christmas Eve.
Opening hours are then as follows:
Christmas Eve – 08:00 – 16:00
Christmas Day – Closed
Boxing Day – 09:00 – 13:00
27th – 30th December – 08:00 – 20:00
New Year’s Eve – 08:00 – 16:00
New Year’s Day – 09:00 – 13:00
Monday 2nd January – 08.00-20.00
Normal hours resume from Tuesday 3rd January.
Off -peak members will have full access during the above opening hours and the 24th, 26th, 31st and 1st Jan.
The Club Lounge opening hours are the same as the Club hours above, but the Kitchen opening hours are as follows:
Christmas Eve – 08:30 – 14:30
Christmas Day – Closed
Boxing Day – Closed
27th – 30th December – 08:30 – 14.30
New Year’s Eve – Closed
New Year’s Day – Closed
Monday 2nd January – 08.30-14.30
Normal hours resume from Tuesday 3rd January.
Last orders from the kitchen are 15 minutes before closing time.
We know December is a busy time of year and we don’t often have time to sit and relax over lunch so to help with that we are offering 10% off all takeaway orders until the end of December. If you pre-order before your exercise, we can have your order ready for you when you finish.
If you do want to relax in the Club Lounge we have some lovely hot drink specials, Orange Hot Chocolate, Bailey’s Coffee and Mulled wine. We are also now serving freshly squeezed orange juice.

The gym remains open as per the above Club opening hours. Just a reminder that our 12 – 15 year olds can use the gym whilst supervised by a parent/guardian at the following times:
Weekdays: Any time apart from 17.00-20.00
Weekends: Any time after 12.00.
PT sessions continue to be available to book. The team are already getting booked up for January, so do get in touch with them now to avoid disappointment. You can find out more about our personal trainers including the areas they specialise in and their contact details here.
Refresher Gym Induction
If you want to get a head start on your January exercise routine but would like some help why not book a refresher gym induction with the team or ask them to help you with designing a tailored programme. Please speak to the Reception team to book.
Group Exercise Classes
We will be running a reduced group exercise timetable from Thursday 22nd December until Tuesday 3rd January due to decreased member demand and instructor availability. The best place to view the class schedule is on our App.
Our on-line service, Club Towers Live, will continue over the Christmas and New Year period – please refer to the website for the latest information on class times. As well as the live classes we have a large On Demand library so you can pick the class that you like and do at a time that suits you – often easier in the holidays! If you haven’t requested your free access code and would like to access the service, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
We will hit the ground running in January with our next Les Mills Launch which will take place on the evening of the 6th January. This a perfect chance to try a new class as the routines and movements are new to everyone. The classes will be available to book in the app in the usual way 6 days before. Look out for details in the Club and on Facebook too.
Swimming lessons will not take place over the festive period, with last lessons on Sunday 18th December.
Our Christmas and New Year timetable can be viewed by selecting Holiday on our website and is in effect from Monday 19th December until Sunday 8th January. During this time Aqua classes run as normal, including the Wednesday 21st December evening class, and then stop until Wednesday 4th January when both classes will run.
The new term for swimming lessons begins on Monday 9th January and bookings are being taken now. You can read more about our swimming lessons at www.clubtowers.com/swimminglessons .Please speak to Reception to check availability.
Tennis, Squash & Table Tennis
Courts remain open to book in the usual way as per the above Club opening hours.
The junior coaching timetable will start again week commencing Monday 9th January and booking will be open from 20th December.
Do not forget that all juniors in the 4-11 age category have racquets included in their membership and can book onto our free tennis taster sessions on Wednesday 4th as follows:
4pm Hots shots – Under 8s
5pm Aces/slammers Under 9s and Under 11s
6pm Team Under 16s
For the squash sessions, the times are:
5 – 5.45pm Mini Squash Ages 4 – 7 and beginner early learner age 8 and up.
Please note that Mini Squash runs on Saturday mornings 9.30-10.15am in term time. Whilst the taster sessions are free please do book at Reception so that we know the numbers to expect. We have racquets to borrow but please do ensure children are in clean non-marking shoes.
If you would like to your child to try either sport (or both!) but can’t make the dates above, please email Steve on email@example.com and hopefully we can arrange another date that works.
Adult 1:1 Coaching & Weekly Lessons
Our weekly tennis lessons (drills and points, doubles drills and points and cardio tennis) will take a short break from Saturday 17th December and will resume on Tuesday 3rd January. You can find out more about these on our website.
Our tennis coaches continue to be available for private coaching, should there be any points of your game you are looking to work on. Please contact the coaches directly to find out their availability and to book. You can find out more about our coaches and their contact information here.
Table tennis will run as normal at weekends for racquets members and can be booked on the app.
Our creche will close on Friday 16th December and open again at 9am on Tuesday 3rd January. As many of you will know, Alex will be off to have her baby! We wish her the very best and can’t wait to meet the new little one. We are looking forward to welcoming back Rosie as she returns after her maternity leave and will be back with us in the New Year.
Free 20-Minute Consultation
We are continuing to offer all members a free 20-minute nutrition consultation with our in-house Precision Nutrition Coach Ann. This will be an informal chat which gives members an opportunity to discuss anything about their nutrition habits and areas they would like to improve upon. If you struggle to lose weight, have an unhealthy relationship with food, want to break overeating habits, or are just keen to learn more about making the right food choices, then book a free consultation today. The consultations will take place at the Club and there is availability between Christmas and New Year. To book in please speak to the Reception team or email Ann through firstname.lastname@example.org and she will get in touch to arrange a time.
Don’t Diet in January – there is a better way!
If you are already looking ahead to January and your New Year’s resolution is to make changes that lead to a healthier, happier you, but don’t want to do another fad diet, why not take the steps now by signing up to our new course, Master the Fundamentals of Healthy Eating in just 16 weeks. The course starts on the 25th January. Full information on the course and its benefits can be found here. We are running a 10% early bird discount for those booked on before the 25th December.
Last Minute Gift Vouchers
Don’t worry if you’ve left it to the last minute to get your loved one a present! We have a number of gift vouchers available to buy right up until we close on Christmas Eve, including membership, private classes, PT sessions or vouchers for the Club Lounge. You can read more here or do ask the Reception Team. We can present your voucher wrapped in an envelope decorated with ribbons and bows.
