Group Tennis Coaching for Adult Racquets Members
Weekly Tennis Classes
Cardio Tennis – Saturdays 8-9am
Suitable for all abilities, Cardio Tennis is a fun, sociable group fitness class. Whilst it takes place on the tennis courts and you will need a racquet and you will be hitting balls, this isn’t about tennis! It’s a fully body cardio workout set to music including movements such as squats and ladder work.
Can be booked on the app under classes.
These courses run in either 4- or 6-week blocks, all bookable at Reception.
The options available are as follows:
Startrite – Monday 7–8pm
A free 4-week course in alternate months for beginners (or early improvers). This is a great social course and perfect for new members looking to either get some great hints and tips to improve their game or meet other members of similar ability. You will also be given an overview of the ways to get further connected with other members in the Social Tennis group and box leagues.
Playrite – Monday 7 – 8pm.
An intermediate level 4-week course in alternate months for those looking to improve all aspects of their game.
Prorite – Wednesday 7–8.30pm
This is a 6-week course for more advanced players and aims to work hard on improving specific aspects of your game to take you to the next level.
Doubles Technique Course – Tuesday 10 – 11am.
Develop and hone your doubles play and give your game the edge it needs. Improve movement on court in unison with your partner. Learn how to recognise weaknesses in your opponents’ tactics and how to best exploit them. A good course to attend with your regular partner if you have one.
