Here you will find details of our extensive weekly swimming classes.  We aim to keep the swimming timetable fresh, vibrant and up to date with the very latest industry trends and work with the very best instructors.

06.00 - 09.00
ADULT ONLY SWIM

ADULT ONLY SWIM – As the titles suggests during these sessions the pool is strictly for members age 16 and over.

09.00 - 17.00
GENERAL SWIM

GENERAL SWIM – The pool is open to all members during this time.  There are always two lanes, one for slow swimming and one for fast swimming.  Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult in the pool with them at all times.

16.00 - 16.30
SWIMMING LESSON – STAGE 1 & 2

Stage 1 – Helps to build water confidence, while introducing water safety skills and the basic skills needed to build swimming ability.

Stage 2 – Sees swimmers develop streamlining to their strokes and travel without their feet on the floor, using a recognised leg kick.

16.30 - 17.00
SWIMMING LESSON – STAGE 3 & 4

Stage 3 – Swimmers will develop their kicks, on both their front and their back.

Stage 4 – Sees swimmers perfect their leg kicks for all four strokes and further develop push and glides, while also being introduced to sculling.

17.00 - 18.00
SWIMMING LESSON – STAGE 5 & 6

Stage 5 – Swimmers will develop their skills in treading water, learn the correct arm pulls for all four strokes and learn how to do handstands and somersaults.

Stage 6 – Teaches swimmers how to prepare for exercise, while developing an efficient technique for all four strokes and further developing surface dives.

AQUA

AQUA is a great way to improve fitness and muscle tone, the water provides an atmosphere of safe resistance for aerobic conditioning.  This class is perfect for the fit, pregnant, and/or joint-sensitive individual.

Classes take place in our heated swimming pool and are booked online through our app.  The two lanes for swimming lengths remain open for other members, but they should note there will be music and the activity creates a current.

20.00 - 22.00

Lifeguarded sessions include all junior swimming lessons and Family splash times.

During lifeguarded sessions, 12-15 year olds can swim without parent/ guardian

General Swim Sessions

Under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult.

During General Swim times, pool will be divided into 1 fast lane, 1 standard lane and 1/2 pool open of family swim. Except when there is a class or lessons taking place.

When a class or lesson is taking place in the pool, the remaining 2 lanes will divide into 1 fast lane and 1 general swim lane
