Spend Time Well in 2023 – Making Time for Your Health and Wellbeing

January is here again!  A time many of us look to refocus and make time for our health and wellbeing goals.  Being members of Club Towers, you have already made a good start and below we outline some further steps you might take to get moving and feel great.

Personal Training – £99 Starter Pack

We have a highly experienced Personal Training team at the Club, all specialising in different areas.  Training with someone who sets your targets and holds you accountable can often be the push you need to get the results you want. And our PTs bring great expertise in designing sessions to meet specific fitness goals, or to deal with rehab after injury. You can find out more about our team, including their contact information, here.  Both 30- and 60-minute sessions are available, and we now also offer a discounted “Couples” rate for two people that wish to train together.

We are also offering a £99 starter pack to help you (as the name suggests!) get started. The starter pack offers 3 x 45 minute sessions open to those who haven’t had personal training with us before.  The pack or any other PT sessions can be booked at Reception.

Four Week Injury Prevention Course

Sign up for our Injury Prevention Course which starts on the 15th January running on Sunday mornings from 8.15 – 9.45am for four weeks. The course is run by our Personal Trainer & Sports Scientist, Mark Allen, costs £120 and is designed to enable you to get the most out of your training programme, helping you connect with your body and stay injury free.

Essentially, it’s all about laying the foundations to ensure that the exercise you do leaves you feeling great!

You can find out more about the course at www.clubtowers.com/movewell and can sign up at Reception.

Learn more about Sustainable Healthy Eating (and Living!)

Free Seminar – Don’t Diet in January There’s a Better Way!

Physical exercise is only one part of a healthy lifestyle equation and to have sustainable vitality we must also consider our diet and lifestyle habits, which is why we are pleased to offer nutrition services here at the Club and are lucky to have a Precision Nutrition Level 2 qualified coach available to members.

Whilst diets are often “successful” in the short term in that they can help you to lose weight. But that weight inevitably comes back – sometimes with interest – once the diet ends, and few diets are sustainable for the long term.

There is a better approach to managing your weight – one that has a much better chance of succeeding long term. This involves gradually making small but important changes to your lifestyle that are sustainable for the long term. You can eat more healthily and have a better relationship with food.

We have developed a short seminar which will introduce you to the key concepts and help you to understand how to do this.

Thursday 12th at 7pm, and

Friday 13th January at 2pm.

You can book your space on the App (under Classes), or if you are an off-peak member, you can book directly by emailing [email protected].

If those times don’t suit you or you have specific questions about your eating habits, all members are welcome to book a free 20-minute nutrition consultation with our coach giving an opportunity to do just that.  To book please email [email protected]
