Nick Matthew & Daryl Selby’s “Back To Squash Tour” kicks off at Club Towers
We are absolutely delighted that Nick Matthew and Daryl Selby are putting on an exhibition night at the Club on Friday 10th September. We are all very excited by what is bound to be a great night’s entertainment and can now release details of what the night entails and how to purchase tickets.
For those who follow the sport closely Nick and Daryl will need no introduction; both have been at the very top of the sport over the past decade or so and are household names. Nick is a former 3-time world champion and Daryl spent much of his career in the world top 10. Both have represented England many times including a superb victory at the world team championships in 2013, beating Egypt in the final. Another career highlight for Daryl would have to be a win in the 2011 national final against Nick Matthew himself. Perhaps a good question to ask him about on the night!

Squash has endured a really tough year with very little opportunity for play and so Nick and Daryl decided to put on the “Back to Squash Tour” sponsored by Sweatband.com across 10 different venues around the country to promote the sport and get us all inspired again. Club Towers is the first leg of the tour so they should be nice and fresh and are sure to provide good entertainment throughout the evening. They will be taking part in a Q&A and then retiring to the bar afterwards and will be available to talk informally over a beer or two.
The schedule, costs and details of how to book are as follows:
| 16:15 – 17:00 | Junior Masterclass | Junior coaching with Nick and Daryl. Spaces are limited to 12 juniors. | £20 (includes a spot on the floor at the front to watch the exhibition). |
| 17:15 – 18:15 | Adult Masterclass | Adult coaching / training session with Nick and Daryl. Available for 8 adults. What a great opportunity to get on court and learn a few things from two greats of the modern game. | £45 (includes ticket to watch the exhibition, the Q&A and a free drink at the bar) |
| 18:30 – 19:00 | Play the Pro | 15-minute game play against Nick or Daryl. We have 2 spaces available to the highest bidder for this unique opportunity. Money raised for these two tickets will go directly towards a project to start junior squash sessions at the Bunyan Centre and continue to help grow the sport in Bedford. | To make your bid please just hand a sealed envelope into Reception containing your name, your mobile number, the player you wish to play and the amount of your bid. Bids can be submitted any time after 14th June and the bidding will close at the end of August. The highest bids win the prize – it is as simple as that! |

Tickets will be sold on a first come first serve basis and will be for members only initially. If there are any spaces left a couple of weeks prior to the event we will open it non-members.
Bookings for the night will open on 14th June and you will need to pay and purchase a ticket from Reception to secure your place.
