I have just completed a year long journey of nutrition coaching with Coach Ann at Club Towers, based on the coaching curriculum developed by Precision Nutrition (PN Coaching), and I can confidently say that it has been a life changing experience. Before diving into my personal transformation, let me share some insights into what PN Coaching is all about.

For over two decades, I had been trapped in the cycle of yoyo dieting. I knew deep down that diets didn’t work for me in the long run, but did not know what else to do. My weeks were marked by extreme calorie restriction, followed by weekend binges that left me feeling defeated. I needed a change and a sustainable approach to my health.

The Lessons and Habits 

At the start of my journey, I was initially frustrated by the gradual release of information. I’m the type of person who wants it all at once. However, I soon realised the brilliance behind this approach. Drip feeding knowledge prevents overwhelm and also facilitates habit stacking, a proven strategy for lasting change. The daily lessons and exercises led to countless “a-ha” moments for me, and ticking off completed daily habits brought a sense of accomplishment.

Monthly Workshops and Personal Coaching

The monthly workshops with the founder of PN Coaching challenged my thinking and encouraged me to dig deep into my beliefs and habits. It was eye opening to confront what had been holding me back. But the real game changer was the monthly one-to-one sessions with Coach Ann. Her guidance pushed me beyond my comfort zone, helping me discover my true potential.

Intuitive Eating and Finding Balance

By the end of the program, I had transformed my approach to food. I now practice intuitive eating, listening to my body and understanding how different foods make me feel. Yes, I still enjoy treats, but now it’s a conscious choice, often followed by a craving for healthier options like salads and fruits. I’ve achieved a level of control over my food choices that I never thought possible.

Happy, Strong, and in Control

My primary goal in enrolling in the program was to regain control of my relationship with food, and I undoubtedly achieved that. As a delightful side effect, I shed 16lbs and 31 cm’s effortlessly (and I’m still progressing). I have developed a healthy relationship with food, and I genuinely relish my workouts, growing stronger every day.
