Easter 2024 at Club Towers

14 March 2024

Easter is early this year and nearly upon us, so we wanted to share our opening hours and an update on activities over the period. We will start with our opening hours over the bank holiday weekend:

Good Friday 29th March – 8am – 8pm
Saturday 30th March – 7am – 8pm
Easter Sunday 31st March – 8am – 8pm
Easter Monday 1st April – 8am – 8pm

On each of the above four days:

• Off-peak members will have access to the Club at their usual times.
• Super Off-peak members will have access from 5.30pm to 8pm.

Swimming

Junior swimming lessons take a break from Monday 25th March and are back from Monday 15th April.

Please do note the additional adult-only midday (11am-1pm) weekday swim times when planning your swims which run from Tuesday 2nd April to Friday 12th April.

On Good Friday and Easter Monday it’s general swim from 9am to 7pm with “adult only” during the first hour of our opening. There are no aqua classes on these days.

Our timetable can be viewed here. Paper copies can also be picked up at Reception.

Club Lounge & Kitchen Opening Hours

The Club Lounge will be open as per the above Club opening hours for drinks and snacks but the kitchen hours are reduced over the Easter weekend. The kitchen hours from Friday 29th March until Monday 1st April will be 8:30am until last orders at 2.30pm.

Group Exercise

Please note we will be running a reduced class timetable over the Easter weekend. Please see the app for the most up-to-date information. If it’s harder for you to get into the Club over the holidays, with children being off school and other commitments, don’t forget all members have access to www.clubtowerslive.com where you can access live and on demand classes at a time that suits you. If you don’t have your code, please email [email protected].

Creche

The Creche is open for most of the Easter school holidays but closed on Good Friday and Easter Monday. To check availability please email our Creche Manager Toni on [email protected].

Parent and Junior Gym

The parent and junior gym times remain the same as during term time and our 12-15 year old junior members can use the gym under parental supervision at the following times:

Weekdays: Any time apart from 17.00 – 20.15.
Weekends: Any time after 12.15.

The first time a junior uses the gym they must have an induction with one of the team and sign a health commitment form which can be arranged with the Reception team. If they’ve been using the gym a while but could do with some help with a programme they can also book a refresher induction to help with this. This can also be booked at Reception.

Free Junior Racquets Tasters

Our summer term starts from Monday 15th April and we are offering free taster sessions for both squash and tennis on Saturday 13th April. This is a great opportunity for your child to try a racquet sport to see if they like it before committing to a term. Details can be found here.

Private Tennis and Squash Coaching

Our junior racquets coaching takes a break over the holidays. The last day is Saturday 23rd March and it is back on Monday 15th April. If you’d like to keep your child playing, we have a full coaching team of experienced coaches who offer 1-2-1 sessions or family sessions. You can find details of the tennis coaches here and the squash coaches here. Contact them directly to enquire and book.

We will leave you with a little advice from our Nutrition coach, Ann, which we’ve shared before but is very apt at this time of year – it’s an interesting one about the benefits of overindulgence. If you have five minutes, have a read and if it sparks any questions do feel free to get in touch with Ann at [email protected].

We hope you enjoy a lovely Easter break!
