Christmas Celebration – Friday 8th December
It’s the most wonderful time of the year…. And we always look forward to our annual Christmas celebration where we invite members to spend an evening with us, singing carols and enjoying a mulled wine and mince pie. And of course, we have some exercise-based activities too! The full details are provided below, and we hope to see you there!
Christmas Arts and Crafts 4.30 – 6pm
Join our Creche team for some seasonal arts & crafts. This fun session, aimed at our junior members aged 4 – 10, will include lots of glitter, glue, and take-home crafts! The session is £14, and you can book now at Reception. A chance for children to get their Christmas costumes or jumpers on too!
Christmas Group Cycle 5 – 5.4pm
Our regular Friday evening group cycle class but taken over by Christmas! Expect lots of your favourite Christmas tunes to get you up those hills! Christmas outfits are very much encouraged!
This class can be booked on the App as usual 6 days before.
Festive Mash Up Class 5 – 6pm
Join us for a Christmas mash up of Attack, Combat, Zumba and LBT to all your favourite Christmas hits! Always popular so do book early and feel free to wear those Christmas outfits. We can’t wait to see them!

Christmas Carols 6.10-6.40pm
We are delighted to welcome back again the very popular and easy on the ear Bedford Modern Singers! They will be with us in the Club Lounge inviting members to join them in singing a few traditional carols around our tree. The Club Lounge team will be serving complimentary mulled wine and mince pies as well. It’s a lovely way to get into the Christmas spirit with fellow members.
Wrong Handed Squash Tournament 6.30 – 8.45pm
Who is the best squash player in the Club with their wrong hand? Now we will find out! A social (but competitive!) evening of one game round robin matches, followed by semis and final. We anticipate this event will be wide open and great fun, so time to start practicing – it’s not easy with your wrong hand! Enter on the sign-up sheet in the squash corridor.
Santa’s in the House (Club!) 6.40 – 7pm
We’ve arranged a special visit from the big man himself and Santa will be in the Club Lounge with some small presents on the settees by the tree after the carols. No need to book – just come along.
Christmas Jumper Tennis Tournament 7 – 9pm
Our fun and festive annual tournament is back! It is suitable for players of social tennis playing ability and above and, as the name suggests, Christmas fancy dress/ jumpers are a must! Entry is free. Enter using the sign-up sheet on the Tennis Board by the doors to the courts.
Club Lounge Specials
The Club Lounge will be doing seasonal specials throughout December, including our Christmas dinner sub-roll, Orange hot chocolate and Baileys coffee, so do look out for them, or ask the Club Lounge team for details. If you would like to pre-order any food for the evening of Friday 8th, do get in touch with the team who will be happy to help.
Lastly all the staff team will be in Christmas fancy dress all day and we encourage you to do so too!
