The Club Lounge Welcomes Members Back
The Club Lounge is very much open again and we have enjoyed welcoming you back during the first week!
We want to ensure members feel comfortable and confident coming into the Club Lounge, so that you can relax and enjoy it. Safety has been at the forefront of our minds so that you don’t need to worry about it. We have reduced the number of tables to allow for social distancing; the team will be wearing masks when in the Lounge area and will serve you from behind a screen. Any items cleared from tables are either disposed of safely or washed/sanitised before being reused, and we are paying extra attention to our cleaning routines. Whilst there are reduced tables in the Lounge itself, we do have lots of space outside on sun terrace, so do come and relax in the August sunshine!
If you would prefer to eat at home for now, as before you can still pre-order food and drinks to takeaway with you after your time at the Club.
We are cashless now, so don’t forget your card or phone!
Welcome to our New Managers
We are delighted to announce that we have appointed a new Front of House Manager, Elizabeth Albert and a new Head Chef, Marlon Erne. They both bring with them a wealth of experience which we know will improve your experience with us in the Club Lounge.
Marlon has immediately set to work on a new menu, which will be launched in phases across August. We started with the introduction of our freshly prepared smoothies and soups of the day and we have baguettes available to grab and go from our fridge.
From Monday 3rd August we will introduce our new breakfast, lunch, and kids’ menu, available from 9-2pm. You will still find member favourites, but we are also introducing some new dishes including paninis. Menus are now laminated and can be found at the counter to allow for cleaning in between uses. The menus can also be found online here.
Marlon will gradually reintroduce our Daily Specials, so do look out for details on the counter.
Our full main menu and our weekly gourmet special will be launched later in August, more details to follow.
If you are exercising in the evening (or earlier!), why not stop for a beer or glass of wine or prosecco on the sun terrace. We now have 61 Deep available in addition to Estrella and Bombardier, and a new non-alcoholic beer in Heineken Zero.
Eat Out to Help Out
We are pleased to say we will be taking part in the “Eat Out to Help Out” scheme. Join us on Mondays, Tuesdays or Wednesdays to receive 50% off all soft and hot drinks and food that is eaten in the Club Lounge (not takeaways) up to a maximum of £10 per person. From the 3rd August we will be serving food from the kitchen between 9am and 2pm.
Premium Members – Guests
Premium members are welcome to bring a guest in and have lunch or a coffee and cake. You do not need to call ahead and book but do remember a slot must be booked for your guest (with Reception) for any other club activities.
Elizabeth and her team look forward to seeing you in the Lounge soon.BACK TO NEWS
