Another new sponsor for 2023, we are delighted to have the support of local independent school, Polam.
Whilst many of you will be aware the school has been in Bedford a long time, not everyone will know that 2023 is a very special year for Polam School, in the heart of Bedford, as they celebrate their centenary year – quite a milestone!
As a Pre-Prep setting, Polam nurtures the first steps of a child’s education offering an independent school education between the ages of 2-7 years. They pride themselves on their values-based approach to learning, instilling the importance of kindness, respect and curiosity all within a curriculum-led environment, which led them to win ‘Independent Pre-Prep of the Year’ in 2021 at the Independent School awards. This success was then supported by taking home the ‘Most Loved By Parents’ award the following year within their international parent company, Cognita. Two great achievements!
With their on-site Swim School with dedicated teachers, immersive learning rooms such as their forest school & space themed teaching spaces & intentionally small class sizes, Polam strives to provide not only the academic results needed to secure the next steps in their students’ educational journey but, equally importantly, a start to school life that they will look back on fondly.
