Summer Charity Ball 2019 – Auction Prizes

We’ve been donated some wonderful auction prizes for our charity summer ball this weekend. Whilst the auctions will take place during the ball we would like to open it up to members not attending the event. You will find details below of our five auction prizes, all money raised goes directly to our member chosen charities Bedford Hospital’s Charity and Bedford Open Door. 1. England Rugby Shirt Signed by the 2019 Six Nations Squad

Very rare Official England Rugby shirt signed by members of the 2019 Six Nations squad. Thanks to our member, ex-Bedford Blues, Saracens and Newcastle Falcons player, Mouritz Botha, who kindly donated this shirt for tonight’s event to raise money for our members’ chosen charities – Bedford Hospitals’ Charity & Bedford Open Door.

2. Six-Course Lunch Tasting Menu with 4 Wine-Flights for two people at Paris House in Woburn, with a Helicopter Arrival

An elegant and truly unique restaurant set in the stunning deer park of the Woburn Estate in Bedfordshire. Paris House is the perfect setting to enjoy exciting food, fabulous wines and great British hospitality.

Arrive for your lunch in style with a helicopter arrival…..
A helicopter, kindly donated by Mr & Mrs Marks, will take you from the car park of Club Towers to Paris House for your lunch at the mutually agreed date & time.
Note that the date of the helicopter arrival is subject to various conditions such as obtaining Woburn Estate’s permission at least a week in advance, the helicopter pilot’s availability and weather conditions. Should the helicopter arrival to Paris House becomes unavailable on the bidder’s desired date, Mr Marks has kindly offered to provide a 20-minute helicopter ride to the winning bidder to take place on a separate, mutually agreed date.

3. Eight-Course Chinese Banquet for 8 people at Park House in Bromham, Hosted by Mr & Mrs Towers

5. Priority Parking at Club Towers for 12 Months

A unique opportunity to obtain a Priority Parking Badge (with your car registration number) that will permit you to park in any of the priority parking spaces (if available) at the front of the Club for 12-months (between 1st July 2019 and 30th June 2020). This prize is strictly non-transferable, and is only available to one lucky member. Normal restrictions apply (i.e. only parking for the duration of a Club visit).
