Still on Track to Open 27th March

Fitting out the building continues apace, and we are now well into the final 3 months of the project. The internal work is right on track, and whilst there have been a few more problems and delays with the external work, the contractors, Pellikaan, are confident that we will be ready for our soft opening on the 20^th, and our full opening on the  27^th of March.

We took 80 interested people around the site last weekend, and what surprised most people was just how much work remains to be done in the last 10 weeks – it is going to be a very busy site until we open!

Tiling at the shower area

Tiling of the swimming pool is now complete, and sauna and steam room will be installed shortly. Showers have been fitted and sanitary ware has commenced installation.

In the kitchen, the large walk-in fridge and freezer are installed, the bar/café frontage is in place, and the rest of the kitchen will follow shortly.

Sprung floor being laid in the Mind and Body Studio

Upstairs, walls have started to be painted, whilst the first sprung floor was being laid in the Mind and Body Studio this week.

Outside, most of the car park to the west of the building is laid to tarmac, and the road to the rear of the building was constructed this week. Work continues on the external tennis courts, and these should be ready for the base layer shortly.
