Sam Morris
Level 4 England Squash Performance Coach
As well as being an active member of Club Towers and our resident squash coach, Sam also plays in the Bedfordshire Premier League and further afield. Sam is a Level 2 England Squash coach and is also our lead coach for the Bedford Squash Academy, run by the Club at Mowsbury Squash and Golf complex. He is also integral to our schools coaching programme here at the Club.
He is available for one-to-one junior and adult coaching sessions at all times, especially on Thursdays and Fridays.

Steve Barlow
Level 4 England Squash Performance Coach
Steve has a wealth of coaching experience and has coached many adults and juniors in the area that have gone on to play at either county or professional level. Steve is equally at home with club players and beginners and is running a number of group sessions on our timetable as well as being available for individual coaching. From a playing perspective Steve has won the Bedfordshire County Closed a record 8 times and represented England at both O45 and O50 age group categories.

Ed Norris
Level 2 England Squash Coach
Along with his role at the Club as a Cleaner Ed has a real passion for helping beginners or improvers find their way in the sport. You can book a free squash welcome with Ed to get some tips on the game and guidance on what squash activities to get involved in. Ed also runs a Thursday morning social squash session and is also available for 1:1 sessions.

Ryan Pescod
Level 2 England Squash Coach
Ryan’s magnetic personality and fun-based approach is excellent for coaching all ages. He jointly runs the mini and junior squash on a Saturday morning at the Club. He is an experienced team squash player and an active member of the Club.

Alexis White
Level 2 England Squash Coach
Alexis is a keen squash player participating in our box leagues and playing and competing regularly. He gained his level 2 qualification in 2021 and joined our squash coaching team in October 2021. He coaches groups of beginner to intermediate juniors on Wednesday and Saturdays at Club Towers as well as sometimes supporting other sessions run by other coaches in the team. Outside of Club Towers he also plays and coaches badminton.

Simon Marshall
Level 2 England Squash Coach
Simon has run multiple junior age groups and adults ever since Club Towers opened in 2017. He also runs one of the Club’s School Sessions. He is an experienced team squash player and is a member of the Towers 2 team which won the Beds Squash League in 2021/2023. He also sits on the Beds Squash Committee as the league organiser.
