National Fitness Day 2022 at Club Towers
National Fitness Day encourages us to celebrate the fun of fitness and physical activity across the UK and this year will take place on Wednesday 21st September with a theme of “Fitness Unites Us”.
To celebrate National Fitness Day and to help promote and encourage exercise for a healthier lifestyle, something we are passionate about here at the Club, we have a few activities planned:
Facebook Live – Abs & Core Blast Class for All
We will be live-streaming an Abs & Core Blast workout on the day at 1.15pm on Facebook Live. Fitness Manager Katy will take you through this 20-minute class – a functional and strengthening workout for the core, back and trunk of the body. We will be using a combination of planks/hover variations, crunch-based moves and back strengthening exercises to build a strong lean body, improving stability and overall fitness. The class will be tailored to all fitness levels. You will need a mat and water close by to keep you hydrated, but that’s it!

The class will also be streamed on Club Towers Live (www.clubtowerslive.com) and kept in the on-demand section if you can’t make the class on the day. If you haven’t got your access code please email [email protected] to get yours.
Lucky Locker & Class Competition
To celebrate coming into the Club on the day and being active there will be a chance to win one of ten prizes.
Across the day we will be hiding lucky envelopes in lockers for members to find, which they can then bring to Reception to claim their prize.
Instructors in classes will also be given envelopes and class go-ers will be picked at random across the day to win a prize.
Free Gym Programme Review
If you are in a bit of a fitness rut and would like to do more in the gym but are not quite sure where to start, or you need some advice, we are offering free refresher gym inductions on the day.
