Junior Tennis Club Championships 20/21st November 2021
Who will be our Junior Tennis Club Champions for 2021?
It’s the big tournament of the year for our juniors and a chance to be crowned Club Champion!
There are singles events for U8, U10, U12, U14 and U16 to enter and a new doubles event this year for the U16, U14 and U12 age groups. For the singles, any junior can enter if they can serve and hold a rally. If you are unsure, please do speak to your coach and he will be able to advise. For the doubles, you can enter with a partner or enter individually, and you will be paired.
The tournament will take place over the weekend of the 20/21st of November and timings will depend upon how many entrants we get. Entries are open now and will close on the 11th November, with the running order confirmed on Monday 15th November. As a guide we are aiming to do the mini red and orange events on the afternoon of the 20th and the green and yellow ball on Sunday 21st but it will depend on numbers and final confirmation will be sent out on the 15th.
Competitive play is an important part of a player’s journey. It puts everything they’ve been learning in their coaching into practice, and we find that children really love it! It helps builds confidence as well as being great fun, so please do encourage your child to enter.
Everyone who enters receives a certificate and there are prizes for the winners of each age group. Entry is free and forms are available to collect at Reception.
