Join us and fellow members for a Royal Celebration – 7th May
We couldn’t let a celebration like a coronation go by without organising a social event – after all, the last one was 70 years ago! As such we would like to invite members to spend the afternoon together and join us for our Coronation BBQ event on Sunday 7th May.
We are confidently expecting glorious weather for the day! Head Chef Marlon and his team will be warming the coals and offering one of his delicious BBQs from 1 – 5pm. There will be large and small plates available as well as individual items such as hot dogs and burgers. Full menu can be found here. There will also be free ice lollies or sweets for juniors eating with us on the day.
As well as the BBQ we have booked children’s entertainer Mr Custard to provide entertainment for families, with a magic show from 2.30-3pm. He will then be outside with balloons and other close up magic tricks until 4.30pm. We anticipate some crowns and balloon sword fights!
There will also be garden games on the terrace along with bats and balls on outdoor courts 4 and 5 to offer families the chance to play.
To allow everyone to enjoy the BBQ and Magic Show we are moving the time of family splash (for this day only) to 1 – 3pm.
The magic show is free for all members and aimed at those under 10, but all are welcome. Please do book at Reception to secure your child’s place. We will accept walk ins on the day but only if there is space.
