Foundations Laid and Swimming Pool Excavated
Ground works have continued apace on site in the last few weeks, despite the dreadful weather we have seen in June. The contractors are doing their best to manage the water flow from the regular downpours so as not to disrupt the work, although they have inevitably lost some working time due to the rain and the site is currently very soggy.

The building foundations (see photo) are now in place and ready to accept the steel frame when it arrives next week. The swimming pool has also been excavated (see photo), and the blinding (first coat of concrete) was laid today – just before the rain arrived!
I hope to be on site next week to record the arrival and erection of the first steel pillars for the club and indoor tennis hall.[/fusion_builder_column][/fusion_builder_row][/fusion_builder_container]
