Free Nutrition Seminar – Don’t Diet in January – There is a Better Way! 13th & 18th January 2023

Are you fed up with trying yet another type of diet? Or perhaps you don’t diet, but have struggled to control your weight, despite doing plenty of exercise? There has to be a better and more sustainable way – right?!

Well, you are right!

Diets are often “successful” in the short term in that they can help you to lose weight. But that weight inevitably comes back – sometimes with interest – once the diet ends, and few diets are sustainable for the long term.

There is a better approach to managing your weight – one that has a much better chance of succeeding long term. This involves gradually making small but important changes to your lifestyle that are sustainable for the long term. You can eat more healthily and have a better relationship with food.

We have developed a short seminar which will introduce you to the key concepts and help you to understand how to do this.

Seminar Content

The seminar will cover:

  • Why “diets” don’t work and how to make sustainable changes that will work for you.
  • Understanding “habits” – what they do and how you can make them work for you.
  • How to make change happen and, more importantly, how to sustain it.
  • What simple things you can do straight away to move you in the direction you want to go. 

Who Should Attend?

The seminar is suitable for anyone who wants to:

  • Try to manage their weight in a way that is sustainable for the long term.
  • Understand why they might have struggled with diets in the past.
  • Develop a better relationship with food and eat more healthily.
  • Get some practical tips on how to make changes and develop good eating habits that will last.

When & Where?

The seminars will take place at the Club (Creche Room on the 1st floor) on the following dates:

Friday, 13th January at 14:00

Wednesday, 18th January at 19:00

How Much Does it Cost?

There is no charge to attend the seminar.

You can book any of the above sessions via the App, 6 days in advance as usual.

Alternatively, you can email Coach Ann at [email protected] to book your place, if you don’t want to take up one of your class booking allowances, or if you are an off-peak member interested in coming to Wednesday’s session.
