COVID 19 Update – 25th September 2020
Following the government announcement this week, we plan to make a few changes to our operations. These can be summarised as follows:
Face Masks:
Most members have already been wearing masks in the Club and we really appreciate this. However, based on the updated government guidance, we feel we have to make the wearing of masks compulsory in the Club when not exercising or eating/drinking in the Club Lounge. If you do forget your mask, you will have the option of purchasing one at Reception for £1, and we will donate all proceeds from these mask sales to your chosen charities for the year.
Closing Times:
We can no longer open our Club Lounge beyond 10pm, and this has a knock on effect operationally for us across the Club on weekdays. Therefore, from Monday 28th September, we will be changing our Club closing times.
Weekdays: All facilities will close at 10pm, with members leaving the building by 10.15pm.
Weekends: All facilities will close at 8pm, with members leaving the building by 8.15pm.
Our opening times will remain unchanged.
Club Lounge:
We are a hybrid café operation and we have developed a way of serving that we believe offers the safest solution for staff and members. Hence we do not intend to change the way we operate. Please continue to order at the counter, and then take a seat at a table and we will deliver your drinks and food to you. If there is already someone at the counter, please ensure you stay 2m away in line with the floor markings, and please ensure you wear your masks at all times when at the counter.
