Club Towers 2nd Birthday Celebrations – Let’s Get Moving

1 March 2019

As many of you will know we are coming up to our 2nd Birthday at the end of March and to mark the occasion we’ve decided to go back to one of our very first aims when Club Towers was just a sketch on a piece of paper: to get people active, healthy and enjoying their exercise as individuals, couples and families. We will be running a series of events all focused on getting us all moving and revisiting our fitness goals and objectives.

Let’s Move for a Better World Challenge – This is a Technogym challenge running from the 11-30th March which aims to spread awareness of the benefits of regular exercise whilst helping Clubs win equipment for charities of their choice. We selected Technogym equipment for our Club as we believe it’s the best in the market and helps us to meet our goal of ensuring your gym experience is as positive as it can be in helping you meet your fitness targets. When Technogym approached us about their campaign, we immediately liked everything about it. We believe being active and having a healthy lifestyle is so important for our wellbeing, and it also gives us the opportunity to win equipment for charity.

March can often be the month when lots of our New Year goals start to fall by the wayside. Don’t let that happen! We are hoping you will join us in the challenge and use it to revisit your fitness goals, refresh your fitness programme and get moving!

Let’s Move in the Bubble – To celebrate two years of group exercise at Club Towers we will be running two classes in the tennis court bubble on the 23rd March. One 30-minute session for our junior members followed by a two-hour fun class for our members aged 14 and over. To find out more click here.

Let’s Move on the Tennis Courts – Our racquets calendar sees a new event at the end of March – a 70/80s fancy dress tennis tournament. As the name would suggest the key to this tournament is to turn up in 70s or 80s fancy dress! Taking place on the 30th March, 3-6pm, it’s a fun doubles tournament for our racquets members of improver plus playing standard.

To book your place please speak to any of the Reception team; entry is £6 which includes refreshments afterwards. There will be prizes for the best dressed! If you would like to find out more about the tournament before signing up, please don’t hesitate to speak to our head coach Nick Boys who will be happy to help.
