Cardio Tennis – now open to all members
Cardio tennis isn’t all about tennis! Yes – you will be hitting lots of balls! But it’s a full body cardio workout that gets your heart rate up and improves your overall fitness. It’s a fun hour class suitable for all abilities including movements like squats and ladder work.
As such, we wanted to open it up to all members as part or our class timetable. Tennis Coach Tom Rees runs this high energy class every Friday night, 6 -7 pm. The first session open to all members will be Friday 20th May. The class, as with other classes, will be bookable on the app six days before and will count as one of your five classes each week included with your membership. Also, as with other group exercise classes you can book on the day at Reception if there is space, rather than on the app and this won’t count as one of your five.

A class normally involves a full 40-minute workout sandwiched between a warm up and cool down. The class is set to music to bring energy and keep the movement going and you don’t need to be super fit or a pro player – the class is tailored to all levels and abilities. Whilst there are benefits to tennis players, the class is a great workout for everyone.

- We have racquets you can borrow.
- Please do wear clean non-marking shoes.
- Junior members aged 16 and over can join us.
