Cake..Glorious Cake… Friends, Fundraising and Coffee… 22nd April
One of our most popular social events is back for April, our cake and coffee morning! Taking place on Friday 22nd April we will once again be offering a wide variety of delicious home-made cakes, sweet treats and healthier bites. Starting at 9am the morning, it will run until approximately 1pm or until the cakes and goodies have run out!
All monies raised will go directly to your chosen local charities and the Club will also donate 50% of all hot drink sales. The two member chosen charities for this year are the MS Therapy Centre and the Tibbs Dementia Foundation.
Whilst the Club is now cash free, we will in this instance, be accepting cash donations on the day and there will be two buckets available for this. All items will have a suggested donation, we won’t be offering change or charging set amounts. Card donations can also be made at the Reception desk.
For those that aren’t familiar with the local charities’ work, The MS Therapy Centre is based in Bedford but operates in both Bedfordshire and Northants. It provides a wide range of therapies, services and support to enable people with multiple sclerosis to self-manage their condition. The Tibbs Dementia Foundation supports local people to live as well and fully as possible with dementia in their lives, by offering support, information and a wide range of activities and social opportunities.
Two very worthy charities who do a wonderful job helping people in our community. We hope we raise a lot for them on the morning.
