Women’s Squash Week 2026

3 September 2026

To celebrate Women’s Squash Week, we’re pleased to once again be offering two free sessions for female members on Wednesday 16th September — which also happens to be National Fitness Day!

Both sessions will be hosted by our experienced resident coach, Sam Morris, who is passionate about encouraging and supporting our ever-growing group of female squash players.

Whether you want to learn a new skill, meet like-minded women, or simply get fit while having fun, this is the perfect opportunity to give squash a try!

The sessions are open to all female members, including girls aged 14 and above.

Beginners Squash Taster

The evening will kick off with a Beginners Squash Taster, with Sam on court from 6.30–8pm.

Come along for a fun introduction to this fantastic sport. The session is completely free and open to complete beginners, as well as those with a little experience. All fitness levels are welcome, and all equipment will be provided.

Please wear clean, non-marking sports shoes and bring some water.

To book: Please contact Reception at the Club or call 01234 607111.

Social Night for Intermediate & Experienced Players

From 7.15–8.45pm, Sam will then host a social session for our intermediate and experienced female players.

The evening will include warm-ups, some friendly match play and plenty of opportunity to meet and play with other members.

To join the session, please contact Sam Morris at [email protected].

Beginners are also very welcome to stay and watch the matches — and if you’re feeling brave and ready to play, Sam may well keep you on court too!

Can’t make the evening?

No problem! If you’re interested in trying squash or racketball, please get in touch with Sam at [email protected] and we can arrange a free welcome session for you at another time.

Come along, have a go and meet some of our fantastic female squash community!
