Polam is an independent pre-preparatory school and nursery, with a heritage spanning over 100 years. Located in the heart of Bedford, their school provides the perfect environment for your child to begin their educational journey, from the age of 1 to 7 years. Set inside two large Victorian houses, with multiple staircases, high ceilings and plenty of character – it has a real “home from home” feel and their aim is to provide an exciting, stimulating and safe environment in which children can flourish and learn. They have also recently been rated OUTSTANDING by Ofsted and DOUBLE EXCELLENT by ISI – the highest possible gradings available to an independent school after an inspection. They are very proud of their team for this achievement, and rightly so.
