2026 Tennis Club Championships
Entries are now open for the 2026 Tennis Club Championships for the following:
Main Events – (all ages)
• Open Singles
• Ladies Singles
• Mens Doubles
• Ladies Doubles
• Mixed Doubles
Vets – Over 45 (born in 1981 or earlier)
• Open Singles
• Ladies Singles
• Mens Doubles
• Ladies Doubles
• Mixed Doubles
SuperVets – Over 60 (born in 1966 or earlier)
- Mens Doubles
- Ladies Doubles
- Mixed Doubles
Events will only run if a minimum of 4 entries are received.
Entry is FREE and the deadline to enter is 5th June. Please enter at Reception.
The draws will be made on Monday 8th June. You must commit to play all matches by the round deadlines, June through to early October.
We will again run Plate events for 1st round losers of events with a minimum 16 entries in the main draw.
For reasons to do with scheduling on Finals Day – and to avoid player burn out – players are limited to a maximum of four events. Ladies may enter the Ladies and/or Open Singles events.
Finals weekend is on 10th/11th October. Please only enter if you can make these dates.
** New This Year **
This year we will be piloting the singles events as official LTA events so that you will have the opportunity to earn ranking points from your match results. You can apply to enter at Reception in the usual way but then we will check that you have British Tennis Membership (BTM), which is a mandatory requirement. We already know many members’ BTM numbers but will contact you if we don’t know yours. If you do not yet have a BTM number, there is a quick and easy way to apply via the LTA by following this link. We recommend you do this now and keep the details of your LTA login and BTM number safe. There are three membership categories to choose from with specific benefits to each, but the “Advantage Play” category is free and is sufficient for you to get a BTM number and enter our Club Championships.
Once we make the draws in June each singles result will need to be entered on-line, and we will issue more instructions on how to do this once the draw is published on the noticeboard.
We will also run a Junior Singles Championship this year, for those age 18 and under (18U), targeted at juniors born between 2008 and 2014.
