Over £1000 raised at our Charity Cake and Coffee Morning
This time last week lots of us were enjoying a cake and coffee all in the name of a good cause and we are thrilled to share that we raised £1079.15 for at our charity cake and coffee morning.
The total was made up from cake sales and the Club also donate 50% of all hot drinks during the morning too. A fantastic total that will make really help these brilliant charities!
As a reminder the charities chosen by members in the Summer were the Bedford Blues Foundation and the Primrose Car Service who both wish to thank everyone for their continued support. Representatives from both charities attended the morning and met lots of members, thank you them for joining us.
Special thanks as always must go to member and keen tennis player Missi of Missis’ cakes who baked an extraordinary amount of cake, which really did make all the difference to our total. She was supported by her fellow tennis players who donated ingredients – thank you too.
A big thank you also to our suppliers La Rondine and Bookers for their kind donations.
And, of course, we must thank all of you who bought cake or coffee on the day!
