Les Mills Launch January 2026

The new Les Mills programmes for the first release of 2026 will launch over the weekend of 10–11 January, bringing fresh music, new moves and a new focus. If you’ve been thinking about trying BODYPUMP™, Les Mills Core™, BODYATTACK™, BODYBALANCE™ , BODYCOMBAT™ or GRIT™ for the first time—or if you’re ready to return after a break—this is the ideal time to get involved.

With brand-new routines being released, everyone in the studio will be learning at the same time, creating a supportive and welcoming environment for all abilities. It’s a great opportunity to start the year with confidence and to rediscover the motivation that comes from training together in a group setting. Whether your goal is to build strength, improve fitness or simply enjoy moving to great music, there’s never been a better time to join in.

The programme for the weekend is as follows:

Saturday 10th January

7.30-8.15am BODYPUMP™

7.45-8.15am GRIT Cardio

Classes can be booked on the app as usual, six days in advance. For those new to the classes, we’ve put brief descriptions on them below, but if you’d like any advice on the classes that are best for you please do get in touch with our Fitness Manager Katy on [email protected].

Body Pump Technique Classes

At the beginning of most months we run two Body Pump technique classes. These classes are aimed at those new to the class and we recommend attending one before starting it. Our instructors will breakdown the main moves within the class and help you start with good technique so you get the most from it. January has Sunday 4th January with Garry at 12.30pm and Thursday 8th January with Katy also at 12.30pm. Classes can be booked on the app.

Class Descriptions:

BODYATTACK™ is a high-energy fitness class with moves that cater for total beginners to total addicts. We combine athletic movements like running, lunging and jumping with strength exercises such as push-ups and squats. A LesMills™ instructor will pump out energising tunes and lead you through the workout – challenging your limits in a good way, and leaving you with a real sense of achievement.

BODYBALANCE™ – Ideal for anyone and everyone, BODYBALANCE™ is the yoga-based class that will improve your mind, your body and your life. During BODYBALANCE™ an inspired soundtrack plays as you bend and stretch through a series of simple yoga moves and embrace elements of Tai Chi and Pilates. Breathing control is a part of all the exercises, and instructors will always provide options for those just getting started. You’ll strengthen your entire body and leave the class feeling calm, centered and happy!

BODYCOMBAT™ is a high-energy martial arts-inspired workout that is totally non-contact. Punch and kick your way to fitness and burn up those calories. No experience needed. Learn moves from Karate, Taekwondo, Boxing, Muay Thai, Capoeira and Kung Fu. Release stress, have a blast and feel like a champ. Bring your best fighter attitude and leave inhibitions at the door.

BODYPUMP™ is for anyone looking to get lean, toned and fit – fast. Using light to moderate weights with lots of repetition, BODYPUMP™ gives you a total body workout. Our instructors will coach you through the scientifically proven moves and techniques pumping out encouragement, motivation and great music – helping you achieve much more than on your own! You’ll leave the class feeling challenged and motivated, ready to come back for more. This class is low impact and suitable for all levels. Do look out for our technique class aimed at people new to the class we run this at the beginning of every month.

Les Mills CORE exercises muscles around the core and provides the vital ingredient for a stronger body. A stronger core makes you better at all things you do, from everyday life to your favourite sports – it’s the glue that holds everything together. All the moves in Les Mills Core have options, so it’s challenging but achievable for your own level of fitness. During the 30-minute workout trained instructors guide you through correct technique as you work with resistance bands and weight plates, as well as body weight exercises like crunches, and hovers. You will also get into some hip, butt and lower back exercises.

GRIT™ SERIES offers three different 30 minute high intensity interval training (HIIT) workouts that build cardiovascular fitness, while improving strength, building lean muscle and maximising calorie burn. Whether, you are in a GRIT Strength, Athletic or Cardio class you will soon become addicted to the amazing results they can achieve.
