Coffee Morning Raises An Amazing £650
We would like to say a big thank you to all those who attended our charity cake and coffee morning. Thanks to your generosity, we are delighted to announce we raised a very impressive £650, a new record for one of these events! It’s a great end to our fund-raising activities for our member chosen charities: Bedfordshire Sands and CHUMs. Money was raised on the morning through bake sales and fifty percent of all hot drink sales during the morning (donated by the Club).
Many thanks also to all the staff and members who baked for us, along with La Rondine, Katy’s Amazebites & Heartybites for their donations; it is greatly appreciated. We had such an impressive selection and variety of cakes and sweet treats, enabling us to raise such a wonderful amount!
Whilst we had to do things slightly differently with Covid in mind, we were really pleased with how the morning went and that you still supported us and the charities. Everyone seemed to have a great time with lots of cakes also taken home to family and friends.
We will shortly announce the total amount raised in the last 2 years and present the charities with any monies outstanding.
